Playmgm.com offers NJ players everything they could want in an NJ gambling website — casino, poker, and sports betting–all in one convenient place without your having travel to anywhere. One simple log-in to your account on your desktop, smartphone, or tablet allows you to move back and forth seamlessly across all three platforms.
Furthermore, as long as you haven’t made any sports bets on playMGM.com yet, even if you have played casino games or poker there, you are eligible for a fantastic welcome offer. However, it’s valid for a limited time and for NBA wagers only.
Who will be crowned this year’s NBA champion–Golden State or Toronto?
Out of the sizable NBA playoffs field that once included 16 teams, only the top two remain: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors. Will the favored Warriors who have won back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018, make it a three-peat?
Or will the hungry Raptors, who are going into their first NBA finals series ever, but got there now by winning four in a row against the Milwaukee Bucks, outplay and outlast the reigning champs. It’s a tough one to call since Golden State is on a four game winning streak as well.
The only thing for certain about this best-of-seven series is that every game will be super exciting to watch, especially if you have a bet riding on the outcome.
The NBA Finals tip off on Thursday, May 30 at 9 p.m. ET in Toronto. Here is the complete schedule:

- Game 2: Golden State at Toronto, Sun., June 2 at 8 p.m.
- Game 3: Toronto at Golden State, Wed., June 5 at 9 p.m.
- Game 4: Toronto at Golden State, Fri., June 7 at 9 p.m.
- *Game 5: Golden State at Toronto, Mon., June 10 at 9 p.m.
- *Game 6: Toronto at Golden State, Thurs., June 13 at 9 p.m.
- *Game 7: Golden State at Toronto, Sun., June 16 at 8 p.m.
Win more when they score!
This NBA promotion has actually been ongoing on playmgm.com since mid-May. Earlier in the playoffs, because more teams were still competing, the casino offered extra payouts based on additional top players’ scores.
However, I can’t imagine any better time to take advantage of this special offer than right now, with your choices narrowed down to just two teams. For starters, you have a lot less handicapping to do.
In addition, with both teams playing every remaining game at full intensity for all the marbles, the excitement and entertainment as you cheer your personal pick on will be off the charts!
Unfortunately, those of you who have already placed one or more sports bets on playmgm.com won’t be eligible for this special offer. But if you’re eligible, don’t let this incredibly easy guaranteed money making opportunity get away from you!
How the offer works
For your first playMGB.com sports bet, wager $20 or more on either Golden State or Toronto on a single game of your choice. Then, win or lose, for every point the designated star player on your team scores, playmgm.com will pay you $3 cash!
You can make your qualifying wager on any single remaining NBA finals game, and the wager can be either a moneyline bet or a point spread bet.
As long as you make the wager before the game starts, you can do so either the same day the game is being played or in advance. However, keep in mind that all betting lines are subject to change.
Your initial bet is a cash wager which cannot exceed the available funds in your account.
If you win, just like with any other winning sports bet, as soon as the final score is official, both the amount you wagered (already deducted from your account balance) and the amount you won will be credited to your account immediately.
Golden State bettors
If you pick the Golden State Warriors as your first sports wager either to beat the spread or win outright, regardless of whether you win or lose that bet, playmgm.com will pay you $3 for each point that Steph Curry (No. 30) scores in that game.
Toronto Raptors bettors
If you pick the Toronto Raptors as your first sports wager either to beat the spread or win outright, regardless of whether you win or lose that bet, playmgm.com will pay you $3 for each point that “The Claw” Kawhi Leonard (No. 2) scores in that game.
Additional terms and conditions
Unlike your cash wager, for which you’ll be paid immediately if you win, you will have to wait at least a week to receive the extra promotion payout. Even though the playoffs will end by June 16 at the very latest, for some reason, playmgm.com lists the promotion period as ending on June 21.
You can expect to receive your promotion payout within 48 hours thereafter. The payout will be in the form of an immediately withdrawable cash credit to your account with no additional wagering requirements.
The only possible way you won’t get a promotion payout is if the player in question either doesn’t play at all or doesn’t score. Extremely unlikely! Otherwise the promotion payout is guaranteed.
How much cash can you win from this promotion?
Your total winnings will, of course, depend on how much money, if any, you win on your initial cash bet. PlayMGM.com has set the maximum additional amount you can win based on the top player’s point total as $200.
That would mean scoring more than 66 points. So unless the game goes into multiple overtimes (like the quadruple overtime 5/3-4 Portland-Denver game), the grand total won’t even come close.
However, Kawhi Leonard has scored an average of 19 points per game in this year’s NBA playoffs so far, including some games with over 30 points. And Steph Curry has averaged 27 points per game and over 30 points in every game since Kevin Durant has been out.
So do the math. If your star player scores 20 points in the game you bet, you receive $60 cash. If he scores 30 points or more, you receive at least $90!
The bottom line
What a great way to introduce yourself to all that playmgm.com has to offer! And this spectacular free cash for first time sports bettors couldn’t come at a better time than now when the two best teams in the NBA will be going head to head to see which one takes the title.
