How much do you need to deposit?

DraftKings will match 20 percent of your deposit with a site credit up to $500 which you then get to wager. The minimum deposit is only $5. But keep in mind that you will only receive a 20 percent bonus, not a 100 percent bonus, and a bonus of only $1 is probably a waste of time.

On the other hand, a $500 bonus sounds very enticing indeed. But it necessitates a deposit of $2,500. If you can afford it, go ahead. But if that’s too much for your budget, scale down. For example, a deposit of $500 will give you a $100 bonus, while a deposit of $100 will give you a $20 bonus.

Wagering requirements and other terms and conditions

Players will receive their bonus in the form of a site credit with a wagering requirement of 25x the bonus. You can satisfy this requirement playing on any platform or combination of platforms on DraftKings you wish: daily fantasy sports, sportsbook (wagers of -300 odds or longer) or casino. If you choose casino games, all games count equally. The wagering requirements don’t increase if you choose table games over slots.

By 4/9/20, at the latest, all of the required wagering must be completed.

25x the bonus is a lot of wagering, so keep that in mind if you are thinking of taking the maximum bonus of $500. Not only do you need to make a single deposit of at least $2,500; you will also have to place $12,500 in wagers. If you are a small bettor, you might consider making a $100 deposit instead with a $20 bonus and a total wagering requirement of just $500.

For every $25 wagered, $1 of the bonus funds will be released into the player’s account. However, it is not clear from the description on the DraftKings website, whether you can withdraw the cleared portion of the bonus piecemeal or if you will have to wait until the bonus is fully cleared to withdraw any of these funds.
