As the above table shows, there is quite a discrepancy between the huge prizes that the top 50 players receive and what everyone else receives. In fact, 500 of the 750 prizewinners receive $10 or less.

The Golden Nugget 2020 Million Dollar Race

Since those prizes will be distributed at about the same time as those for the December race, Golden Nugget will indeed give away $300K in prizes ($100K for the December race and $200K more for the yearlong race).

The yearlong race has a separate leaderboard calculated on the basis of all of the leaderboard points you have accumulated to date in the monthly races. However, the points earned in the last four months of the year carry more weight. All of the points earned in September, October, and November count double, and all of the points earned in December count triple! That is why the activity you give the casino as the year draws to a close is so important.

What can you win in the Golden Nugget 2020 Million Dollar Race?

Whereas hundreds of players receive prizes in the monthly races, the yearlong race awards prizes to the top 50 players only. But this time there are no clunkers.  All of the remaining prizes are in the form of bonus money, delivered in 12 monthly installments, as listed below.

• 6^th – 10^th place: $3,000 free play bonus in monthly installments of $250

Wagering requirements for the bonus money prizes

If you win a prize in the form of bonus money credited to your account, either in the December race or the yearlong race or both, this section applies to you. Before you will be permitted to withdraw this money or any additional winnings therefrom, you must satisfy a small additional wagering requirement.

First, you will be asked to choose which type of bonus you prefer–a casino bonus or a sports bonus. You can only pick one.

Either way, you have up to seven days to clear your bonus. Until you do so, the bonus money remains temporarily locked in your account, but if you wish, you can withdraw other money in your cashable wallet unrelated to the bonus.
