Unbelievable March Madness–FanDuel Sportsbook NCAA Tourney Parlay Insurance
On March 22, I posted an article on NJ Gambling Websites all about the exciting NBA Totals Contest at FanDuel Sportsbook. But what about college hoops?
Does FanDuel Sportsbook have any special promotions for March Madness? You bet!
Last year sports fans were robbed of one of the most exciting competitions of the year—the chance to watch and bet on the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament. But this year, March Madness is back, with more action than you can imagine.
FanDuel March Madness Offer – NCAA Tournament Parlay Insurance
The FanDuel NCAA Tournament Parlay Offer is for ALL players. However, you must opt-in to participate. The sportsbook offered it for the NCAA tournament games being played on March 19-22. They are reoffering it for the games being played March 27-30.
So, even if you missed the first opportunity to take advantage of this offer, you have another one coming up.
- Make a parlay involving three or more teams.
- If exactly one leg of the parlay loses, get a refund of up to $25 in site credit!
How the FanDuel Sportsbook NCAA Tournament Parlay insurance promotion works
- Each individual leg of the parlay must have odds equal to or greater than -200 (e.g., -175, -110, or +140 would all be okay).
- Final odds of the parlay must be equal to or greater than +350 (e.g., +375 or 450).
- On any given day of the promotion, you will receive a full refund of the first qualifying losing wager up to $25 for you to use as site credit. Refunds will be issued within 72 hours of the score being final.
- You have up to seven days from the time you receive the site credit to use it. Otherwise, the money will be forfeited. If you win your bet with the site credit, you can withdraw your winnings. The site credit itself is not withdrawable.
Note that if you bet more than one qualifying parlay on the same day in which exactly one leg loses, you will still only receive a refund for the first of those wagers.
If your parlay wins, you will be paid as usual, but you won’t be eligible for any site credit. If more than one leg of the parlay loses, you will not receive a site credit either.
Why the FanDuel NCAA Tournament Parlay Insurance is a great offer
As anyone who has ever bet parlays with three or more teams knows, in order to collect, all of your picks must be winners. But very often, one wrong pick makes the whole parlay go down the drain.
Parlays can be a great way to get a big return on a relatively small investment. But if you frequently lose because of one team only, you would ordinarily fare better if you bet the games individually instead. The insurance that FanDuel is offering you gives you a second chance to recoup any losses.
The NCAA tournament is great fun to watch and bet on, but the sheer volume of games makes it too easy to overbet your bankroll if you are not careful. This parlay insurance offer is a great way to give yourself more action for less cost
This is March Madness at its best!
What is “March Madness” all about?
The NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament is commonly referred to by a much simpler and shorter name, March Madness. The tournament always starts in the second half of March and continues through the end of the month until the early part of April. It is madness because it is a single-elimination tournament consisting of 68 teams.
What starts out as the massive field of 68 teams in the first round quickly gets reduced to 32. As the tournament continues with the survivors advancing, with each successive round of the competition, the field gets further whittled down to the Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final Four. The action culminates with the Championship Game to decide which college basketball team is the best of the best.
This year, Round 1 got underway on March 21. But the tournament won’t conclude until Mon., April 5 with the crowning of a champion.
Because of the pandemic, last year’s tournament was canceled. This year, the tournament will proceed the same way as usual but with one important exception. All of the games take place in Indiana.
Did you fill in your March Madness bracket on time?
Many of you have already filled in brackets indicating which teams you think will advance in each round of the competition. You can only make one set of picks and you must do so for the entire tournament, long before you know what some of the matchups will be. So, it’s far from easy, but the top prizes are huge.
For example, FanDuel is giving away $50,000 in site credit prizes, with a top prize of $15K in site credit. Caesars Casino & Sports is giving away $100,000 in bonus money prizes, with a top prize of $5K in free bonus play.
Unfortunately, for those of you who didn’t enter one of these contests before the tournament started, you’re too late. You will have to wait until March 2022 to try your luck picking the outcomes of each game of that tournament.
But you can still bet on the individual games yet to be played. Also, consider parlays, especially if money is tight and you’re looking to get extra bang for your buck.
Speaking of parlays, FanDuel has a special promotion that no one betting the NCAA tournament should miss. It’s their NCAA Tournament Parlay Insurance.
