Create your 888 Sport NJ account

Android users can download the app directly from the 888 Sport’s website. To register, click on the “Sign Up & Bet” tab highlighted in yellow on the home page. Once the registration and deposit process is completed, the wagering can begin. For iOS users, the app is available in the App Store.

Moneyline

This type of bet comes down to picking the straight-up winner. Each team is posted with a three-digit number with a minus sign (favorite) or plus sign (underdog). There are times both teams will have a minus before their respective numbers. For example, if the Buffalo Bills are listed at +195. A win by Buffalo would pay out $195 for every $100 wagered. If the Los Angeles Rams are listed at -375, the wagerer would need to lay $375 to win $100.

Point spreads

Extremely popular with football bettors, each team is giving up (favorites) or getting (underdog) points. Occasionally, the line comes down to a “pick’em.” Yes, the point spread can get somewhat crazy with college football games where one school will be favored with three touchdowns or more. Total points

Better known as the over/under, this wager comes down to which side of the line (total points) the final score will fall.

Parlays

A wager consisting of two or more bets in various formats — moneyline, points spreads, props included — and the results of each are dependent upon the other to produce a winning ticket. The added advantage here is if all the bets on the slip come out winners, the payout will be higher than if the bets are made individually.

Prop bets

Propositions are the intriguing bets within the game, such as the first team to score, first scoring play, the team with the highest scoring inning. The bet slip can be settled as soon as the event happens.

Futures

How confident are you about predicting the future? A futures bet is the chance to wager on the outcome of a sporting ahead months in advance, even before you even know which teams or players are participating. “Enjoy Huge Payouts When Your Futures Bets Come In!” are the words used on the 888 Sport page. Live betting
